Charles’ practice includes the representation of commercial real estate developers and investors in the acquisition, financing, development, leasing and sale of commercial office, retail and industrial properties.
Charles also specializes in the representation of investment banks and institutional lenders in connection with all types of lending transactions, including securitized loans, mezzanine financing, and loan assumption and defeasance transactions.
As part of his sustainable real estate development practice, Charles is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, and is a LEED Accredited Professional for New Construction & Major Renovations (2.2).
Prior to joining Stanley, Esrey & Buckley, LLP, Charles was a real estate associate with a prominent regional firm, and prior to that was an associate in the real estate/secured lending practice of prominent national firm.
Charles is admitted to practice in Georgia and New York.
